16. 1898 – Eduard Flooh
He was the son of a Cieszyn carpenter, born in 1830. He ran a general store for many years. In 1859 he was one of the founders of the Cieszyn Kasa Oszczędności Savings Bank, a member of the board from 1861 and one of its directors in the years 1878-1899. In 1861 he was elected as a deputy member of the Town Council, a member of the Town Council from 1864 to 1894 (apart from the 1873-1876 term of office). In the years from 1882 to 1894 he was a member of the Executive Board, and from 1885 to 1891 he was the deputy mayor. In addition he belonged to many Cieszyn institutions and associations, some of which, e.g.; Deutsche Männerturnverein and Militärveteranenverein, awarded him with honorary membership. He died in 1900.
He was awarded honorary citizenship of Cieszyn on the same day and with the same grounds as J. Hoschek.
