German street (nowadays Mennicza). On the left, there is the tenement-house of Moritz Kohn who managed a renowned liqueur factory in the outbuilding; the shop on the ground floor was rented by Leopold Pilzer who sold assorted articles there. In front of Demel Square there is a tenement-house named the Jewish House, which was the only one owned by Jews before the end of the XVIIIth century.
