Seym street from New Town street
Seym street from New Town street. The New Town quarter was built in the early part of the XVIth century. Many buildings were built of bricks and that's why they were untouched during the fire in 1789; nowadays, paradoxically, the buildings form the oldest preserved part of Cieszyn. A building of Nobility Seym, where the representatives of the Cieszyn nobility met until 1850, can be seen in the background.
