The Archduke's castle
The Archduke's castle. Between 1838-1840 the Huntman's Palace was built on the lower remaining parts of the medieval castle, according to the design of Joseph Kornhausel (a well-known representative of Austrian classicism). The visible south wing contained a loggia with a columned portico, which was placed on the round defence tower. From the north side - the palace porch was bounded by a classical hothouse, which was taken to pieces in 1966.
