The city hall in Demel Square
The city hall in Demel Square. The Cieszyn city hall, together with a square, were built in 1496. The town hall was reconstructed many times, and its present appearance was achieved in 1844 thanks to a design by Andrzej Kment, who kept the earlier tower built by Ignatz Chambrez in 1800. On the opposite side of the city hall - is the old building of the “Brown Deer" Hotel with an adjoining tenement-house of the Seemann family.
