The Elizabeth convent was on a slope called Liburnia
The Elizabeth convent was on a slope called Liburnia, (nowadays a corner of Liburnia and Katowicka streets) built in the years 1900-1903 following a design by ing. Johann Muller from Opava, the architect Anton Jonkisch and the builder Johann Nossek. Here, there was also situated a chapel and a hospital for women and children with more than 100 beds (nowadays a hospital for the treatment of tuber-culoisis).
