The Emperor Francis Joseph I main pavillion contained the surgical ward (74 beds). The internal diseases ward and the X-ray room (44 beds) were situated in the Voss pavillion (thanks to a foundation of the baron Voss-Flotow from Berlin); it started operating in the beginning of 1902.
