The honourable tomb and monument of Johann Demel von Elswehr, a mayor of Cieszyn from 1861 to 1892, who was a member of the National Seym in Opava and the Parliament in Vienna for many years. His dead body was exhumed and moved to the hospital cemetery to this magnificient tomb in 1895; the expense of the monument built in 1897 were covered by the town.
