that bloom in Cieszyn in early spring are magnolias. Out of 125 existing species of the tree, one can find 4 in Cieszyn gardens. Most probably they were brought here at the beginning of the 19th century and having that tree in one’s garden was a sign of prestige. Today they constitute an embellishment of many gardens and parks on both sides of the Olza.
