The most famous butter
was produced in Cieszyn dairy and it travelled, under the name Teebutter, as far as the Emperor’s table and to Viennese shops. The name of the butter, which was the abbreviation of “Teschner erzherzogliche Butter” (Cieszyn archducal butter), can still be found in shops in Austria even today, though, unfortunately, the butter itself does not come from Cieszyn any more and hardly anybody knows where its name came from.
