The New Town
The New Town. A view of the Olza slope with the foot-bridge of Kametz, after the name of its builder Ludwig Kametz, was built late in the XlXth century. Along the Olza bank of the Olza stretches New Way street (nowadays Aleje Łyska), which was a popular walk way joining the Castle Hill with the Citizen Forest and the Teschen Btogocice. Higher up there were the backs of the tenement-houses in Bruised Grain and New Town streets.
