in Cieszyn Silesia was a centre called “Cieszynisko” (at present Kocobędz-Podobora, about 5 km from Cieszyn) which was destroyed at the end of the 9th century and the leading role was taken over by a stronghold on Castle Hill. A replica of a Slavonic stronghold, an Archeopark, was built in Kocobędz-Podobora, where today educational programmes and shows take place.
