The Upper Square from Scherschnik street
The Upper Square from Scherschnik street, which was built in the second part of the XVIIIth century behind the citizen's walls is a cattle stopping place, park of a route through Cieszyn from Galicia to the west. In the XlXth century it was a trade place for wooden articles, therefore, the other name: Wood Square. The two storeyed houses on the right contained various shops, such as Eduard Feitzinger's bookshop nr 10.
